The Chinese Association for Biomaterials (CAB) Young Investigator Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership in biomaterial-related research and profession. Candidates for the CAB Young Investigator Award must be under 45 years old. If they work in an academic institution, they must not hold a full professor position at the time of nomination. The 2017 CAB Young Investigator Awardees were all invited to present at the Symposium of “Biomaterials Science and Translational Medicine” at the 254th American Chemical Society National Meeting, Washington DC during August 20-24, 2017. The symposium under the Division of Polymeric Materials Science and Engineering of ACS was organized by CAB and co-sponsored by the “Bioactive Materials” Journal.
